Sing Out With Siyaya is a collaborative project between acclaimed Zimbabwean musical theatre group Siyaya and around 140 local school students, sparked by the educational charity that is the WOMAD Foundation. The members of Siyaya have introduced traditional Southern African song and dance to the repertoire of students from eight local ,including Malmesbury Secondary School. The children have been busy familiarising themselves with the words and rhythms to present - with Siyaya - an inevitably joyous opening performance at WOMAD Charlton Park.
