Patterns of Percussion

28th July on the

Photo Of Bedouin Jerry Can Band

BJB percussionist Ayman Hassanne will lead an interactive drum workshop exploring Sinai desert grooves. The BJB have exploited the inherent percussive potential of the debris scavenged from the battlegrounds of the Six Day War in 1967. Using ammunition boxes, jerry cans and a variety of junk percussion, combined with traditional instruments such as the Bedouin clay jug, they will share their own very individual rhythms and grooves.
