make sure your tent is waterproof

Hoping for the weather best but wellies at the ready...my weather wishes are few..may it be warmish and danceable....I can live with a bit of wet otherwise!

Hope the field is decent enough to be able to pitch a tent - beyond that, not much matters. Would be nice if it wasn't a mudbath, but if it is, it is.

Whatever you do don't look at the watercourses on the Charlton Park site on google maps, especially so if you're thinking of using the Meadow Campervan/Park and Camp area.

I didn't enjoy the year of Woemud, especially having to pull 2 children out of the mud literally every step of the way. It took us over an hour just to get to the car park - and then had to be dragged out by tractor!
The organisers have had plenty of time to be prepared and I hope they won't let us down.

I'm dreading mud and rain too. Praying for sunshine. I wouldn't mind wet muddy conditions if it was just the grown ups, but not such fun with a small person. Come on sunshine!!! You can do it!!!!

I had to tie my Welles on with string in WOMUD year as they kept getting sucked off my feet.
*note to self* remember to bring string, scissors, gaffer tape and elastic bands - camping essentials.
There'll be sun, sun, sun,
all over our bodies,
sun, sun, sun
cos that's all we'll need to have a good time!

I'm taking walking poles..will help with the traction of pulling wellies..with feet attached out of mud and help with balance!
have lovely memory of a couple who helped when my foot exited boot and ended in mud..they put out stool for me and wiped said foot..just in time for the stool to tip ....and ...foot back in mud again..complete hysterical merriment followed...thanks to them for their kindness and a treasured memory!
