  Wellies are sometimes essential, but very heavy to carry for those coming by public transport. . . suncream is the lighter option and if you apply enough, you will stay dry. . . but slippery.

  Hi Mr Beef, I'm coming by public transport wearing my wellies, best way to carry them. Unless the ground dries up and no rain is forecast until after my birthday, then I could be persuaded to leave them at home!
