  Well, here goes again.....I thought twice about commenting like this again, because subsuquent comments got so negative last year, but I think it's right to say things in the right way. I'm not going to comment on the artists, because we all like different things, but what I will say is that I could have the weekend again and see completely different artists, and it would be just as wonderful an experience as the one we just had

  Loved the big tall flowers with square seating below them, would like a few more next year
  Don't like the new Radio 3 Stage, too small imo
  Siam Tent stage too high up
  Loos fabulously clean at all times
  Most stages seem to have upped the volume levels to the max
  Selection of traders (food and others) as excellent as always

  We had a fabulous time yet again, the weekend went almost in the blink of an eye

  Another tremendous weekend. We are very lucky to have WOMAD. The various changes around the site were much appreciated, and I note oftenin response to previous feedback.
  
  Some positive comments
  - New Radio 3 stage set up great, with fewer trees, but still a lovely location (albeit the height of the stage barrier forced people at the front to stand up)
  - Siam tent was fabulous, and will be great if it ever rains again at WOMAD
  - volume levels good at all stages, even with the strong winds - it seemed to be raised at the CG stage quite early on, which was appreciated, and stall background music seemed to be much lower than before (very welcome)
  - CG stage also appeared to be protected by stewards from becoming a walkway, as it was much of last year
  - a welcome shorter walk from the camper vans to the site
  - and TWO Scots bands playing - has WOMAD discovered Scotland?

  One negative comment:
  - Although it was indeed very welcome to have two Scots bands playing, the programme material about the Peatbog Faeries was horrendously patronising. Such gibberish would never be written about an English or African band.

  Sorry, one more comment from me..... there was very little performance art this year, and there appears to have been less year on year since the move to Charlton Park (when other festivals have I think increased performance art activities). It would be good to get it back.

  Mabilica, I have to agree about the Peatbogs' write up. Clearly the authors have never been to Celtic Connections, nor indeed, Scotland.
  It would be great to see some of the other Honours of Scotland come down for the weekend - Treacherous Orchestra, Saltfishforty (or maybe even The Chair), Julie Fowlis, Blazin Fiddles, ...and I think a Transatlantic session would go down great at Womad!
  We are very keen on embracing rich cultures from far away, but not so good at embracing the ones on our doorsteps...

  
  But to keep the positive vibe, no complaints AT ALL from me.
  A big THANK YOU to all who kept the site and the loos so clean
  THANK YOU to the sound guys for keeping my earplugs mostly in my pocket, THANK you WOMAD for another great line up and superb organisation
  and of course, Tapadh leibh to Braebach and the PBF for coming down

  Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to however looks after the loos. They were kept really clean and stocked up with loo paper.
  Had a fab WOMAD as ever but partciularly loved the Taste the World stage and could have happily sat there all day.

  Invisible radio 3 stage. Just too hidden and low for the number of fans.
  Invisible dancers. No wonder dance is under represented. It can't be seen.
