  Just had a great weekend at WOMAD 2012, so busy getting around the stages and stalls that I didn't pick up on the 30th anniversary CD until it was too late! Is there anybody out there who knows where I can pick up a copy (as I can't see anything at the WOMAD shop or on RealWorld now)?

  I went to buy one last night but they had sold out. They said it would be available on line in a couple of weeks.

  No, this is a double-CD looking back at the Real World catalogue over the last 30 years.........and very nice it is too

  Ah yes! Thanks for the clarigrundyfication.
  I've found the shop now as welll (I know there's a link to the CD just above my post, but I wasn't looking at this page when I was hunting for the shop)
  There's not a track listing posted, but I think I'll just chance it (mind you, for the newly inflated price of the 30th anniversary commemorative programme, they could have chucked a copy of the CD in as well!)

  Well you got a £2 off Voucher with the programme so well worth it. Programme has been same price for a while. No real complaints from me. The programmer acts as a handy reminder for what you saw and for buying music,

  . . . the CD is more to do with promoting the Realworld Gold re-releases than WOMAD - the Songlines is a better compilation if you're interested in hearing tracks from the performers at the festival itself.

  Perhaps the best thing to do would be to use the phone app for info for the first couple of days and then pick up the printed programme when the touts start offering them at half price on Saturday/Sunday.
