Drifter..I'm with you on this..sparkle away for Womad...

Then there's Phantom Wristband Syndrome to consider. One year I was still feeling the band a week after the snip

I always have a ceremonial cutting off of the wristband when I've put all my camping stuff away, put the first of many washes in the washing machine, and am ready to get into a hot bath. Then I add the remains to my collection of wristbands of every WOMAD I've ever been to, the first being in 1987 at Carlyon Bay. Perhaps I need to get a life too!

Confuse the stewards by presenting an armful of historic wristbands going back several years!

I always have an armful of wristbands anyway! it gets confusing at night when its dark and I have a few layers on...

Managra..how wonderful your collection sounds
still not got a life and wearing wristband! Love it

Thanks Jambo.
How the bands have changed over the years, particularly the Reading ones, some of which had wavy edges and some kind of holographic effect.
I'd probably wear mine for longer if it was made of cloth - I find the plastic ones quite scratchy.

Mine came off yesterday . . . but I was sad about it . . . mainly because it symbolically ends Womad for me for another year . . . they are uncomfortable though . . . deffo go with fabric ones next year Womad!! xxx

Mine's still on

Mines still on but mainly because when I returned to work I was told off by a grey dreary person that it was not appropriate.
But the fabric ones are not hygienic, the last fabric one I wore came off immediately I returned home.
