Albeit they might have to mime as live might be pushing the boundries on this one.
We have had Squeeze and they where brilliant we had Eddy Grant again brilliant - One group a year not of the norm for Womad wouldn't go a miss and we do have all ages on site and if you don't like them there will always be something else on at the same time.
Smurf age 52 and sober

You.ll be wanting fearne cotton as mc next!

. . . wouldn't you rather see Father Abraham instead of Girls Aloud?

Err - we did get Robert Plant. A great set IMHO but perhaps not strictly hardcore world music. Thats as far as I want to see things go
The likes of Squeeze, Chic etc are the things most likely to drive me to a different festival.
I do worry than there is an increase in soul/reggae already as a safe world-lite booking option for the SN16 set

I can't decide whether this thread is a joke or not??!!! xxx

Who's being a naughty Smurf then?

Well what a coincidence they have just announced a reunion tour - thats got to something kind of ooh !

lf I didn't know better I would think The Smurf was ph up to his old tricks again ;)
