  I have already posted this in another thread BUT HOPEFULLY WOMAD PEOPLE WITH READ IT IF I POST IT AGAIN.

  We definitely need something to entertain us until the early hours and agreed, it shouldn't be anywhere near family camping. From what I recall even after the camp site bar was closed, the music continued playing, which seems something that happens a lot at festivals these days.

  However, as I save up all year for Womad and count this as my main holiday, so I don't want to end up in bed at midnight .Reading used to have so much going on even after Club Womad closed - Cafe Ole was great and there was always some sort of party going on under someone's gazebo. However, since moving to Charlton Park that vibe is sadly lacking. Come on Womad, we're all paying punters so if you taken the camp site bar away and Cafe OIe has gone, what are you going to replace them with? Despite popular opinion on this forum, some of us don't want cocoa and boring biscuits before bedtime, we want fun!

  What do we want? Entertainment after midnight. When do we want it? At every Womad Charlton Park from now on. Thank you.

  totally agree ,we need a late night gathering spot .Like Purpledawn Womad is my summer holiday and I certainly don't want to be tucked up in my sleeping bag early. Womad is all about discovering new music and also meeting new people at 2am . Surely we can have a late night/early morning bar with music and people ....So come on Womad it's what we want ...

  Opening hours say arena will be open till 4am, previously it shut at 2 so perhaps the campers bar has been replaced by the arena bars?

  Very much with this one. We're not there to go to bed at 12.00 with a nice cup of Horlicks. Lack of late night entertainment = noisy campsites

  Forget the Hobnob debate (yawn)!

  And quite right Tindaletim, as I just said in another post, if they don't provide entertainment, we'll have to resort to making our own! Which could be rather noisy..... even without drums!
