WOMAD

  My normal WOMAD buddies aren't able to make it this year but I'm reluctant not to go. Given that I don't fancy doing it on my own, is there anyone here who'd be interested in linking up for camping / music watching? I'd be driving from Bath and am an easygoing guy aged 34.

  A few years ago I went to WOMAD by myself. It was the best festival I've had, really enjoyed it. And met some nice people on the way.

  It's my umpteenth WOMAD but I've never made a meet yet. I keep getting distracted by the bar opening times and a distinct lack of memory.

  Same happened to me a couple of years ago, I've now met many lovely friends on the Womad forum and at Womad. Come to the meet up at 6:30 Thursday at Womad Campsite info tent, unless I get distracted by beer tent, of course! *hic!*

  Been to Womad alone several times. It's great....everyone is really friendly, plus no waiting ouside loos, missed phone calls and texts or obligations to meet anyone. Blooming marvellous....I'm so lucky to have festival buddies who realise how easily distracted I am and they don't really mind if I wander off or choose not to rendevous at set times
