Fatboy slim and friends big beach boutique brighton 1st june and then my own special party in my own field (Glastonberry Knot) 9th june everything from Dub to psytrance its gonna get noisy !

Just seen Emily Smith AGAIN!!!!
And the usual Strummercamp is lined up for June

I've got a Sandy Denny tribute next week featuring members of Bellowhead, plus Maddy Prior, Joan Wasser, Jerry Donahue, Dave Swarbrick, Thea Gilmore, Lavinia Blackwall, Blair Dunlop, Sam Carter, PP Arnold & more.
Can't wait!

I really like Emily's stuff but Waltzing for Dreamers puts a shiver down me back

Saw Ju-Ju at Borderline on Thursday - absolutely superb - great gig.

Hey Nigenet, the Dreaming Tree are often on at The Bell and Talbot in Bridgnorth. I saw em once and didn't like them but my friends do. Hope you enjoyed the Buxton gig.

Great summer of music ahead - Modou N'Daiye on 1st June and Alejandro Toledo and the Magic Tombelinos on June 3rd, both in Dorchesrer so on our doorsetp, followed by Rua Macmillan at the Wimborne Folk Festival on June 8th. Then we have just bought tickets for the Africa Stage at the BT River of Music on 21st & 22nd July - Baaba Maal, Angelique Kidjo, Justin Adams (& Juju as a separate act), Seckou Keita, The Noisettes, Krar Collective, Staff Benda Billi & Munuta Valdo and more. I haven't heard of all them but at £3 per ticket today (so a grand total of £12 for two of us for 2 days great music) I couldn't resist. Tickets still on sale at Ticketmaster.

Roberto Fonseca surpassed all expectations and more - fantastic!
Brilliant band - and there was the added attraction of Baba Sissoko playing with them

That BT thing looks great, Aurelio is playing too I see. I'm not jealous or anything.
