Alan - found this chilled out Womad looking sheep; willing to exchange clothes with Wolf...........could be a good disguise......

Welcome back Jambo - thanks for the delicious cake - this is just the cakeiest thread ever - fab! Did your sister have a lovely birthday and did you have chance to see the peregrine? Eric was back on the belfrey today, still looking a bit bedraggled, but magnificent neverthe less. Titty had been extra busy bringing in more feathers which take a heck of a lot of arranging - could be a cold night ahead, but she and the eggs will be cosy. Wish Titan stayed too! He's keeping warm by worms ... lots of feeding going on. A wonderful pair of tits!
Dave and I have sat down with our slide rules, log books, scales, anemometers and whicheverway we look at it, there's just too much drag on my stern for me to take off from water..........I have exercises to do; good job the delicious cake is extra bum-streamlining!
Just mentioned Del's new T-shirt to hubby - hubby more than a little envious - could be a temporary avatar..????

wonderful time thanks SS but no peregrine visible...sounds like you had a brilliant time with feathered friends
love Alan's possible disguise..Womad Wolf in Sheeps Clothing!
your tits sound a great pair! do you know how long the incubation period is? they'll need all the duvet they can get..we've some more frosty weather on our way towards the end of next weeK
will need to pack many layers (or eat lots of cake!) as the forecast is for low temps while walking plus rain some days..but they could be wrong (fingers and toes crossed)
meanwhile back to the water wings plus cape..practice tomorrow...
hope JayCee survived his weekend....

woof wag snuzzle, nice sheeps clothing, got into a bit of a scrap today... Nice walk along the beach in Whitstable, saying hi to a Lurcher and his friends, wagging tails, politely sniffing each others bits, when the Lurcher goes bonkers and attacks me! I'd done nothing!! the Lurcher wasn't on a lead but I was so I was trapped, luckily Master released the catch on the extendable so at least I could run and dodge the loony till he was brought under control. I got a hug n a treat after so all well, but SS maybe a Wolves outfit maybe better for me

Dave gave Alan and I low level day time sea fights today, very still day, so all was calm, had a few issues around some boats and a Lurcher after landing, but overall dave was very pleased, maybe socks n corks next week.

Success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We Asked Davie about the "laws of refraction" and smiled and said it's quite simple "The surface of the water distorts the light reflecting of the fish and make it appear to be in a different place to where it is. To work out where it is take the difference between the angle of your eye, the light source (which is usually the sun) and fish (which you have to guess). The factor in the temperate of the water, it's density and the estimated depth of the object your after and the you can triangulate the true position of the fish"
We thought about what Davie said then Gordy added don't aim at the fish as it won't be where you think it is aim to miss and you'll get it"
We did some more practising and just before the sun set Cal caught and cork filled sock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Davie was most please
Gordy also suggested a using infallible rings under the broom to help you float so you taking off from the water should be easier

Incubation is 12 - 15 days; unofficially, she's two days in now - 10 - 13 days to go! I would love to think the weather will cheer up for your walking adventures, Jambo, you've had hot and jellyfish, cold and orca, so this looks like being wet and fossily ...... and brilliant fun - just need loads of tiffin and brandy!
Alan - very sorry to hear you've been attacked - horrible thing to happen -you're lucky that S.C. is very good Master - maybe he'll resist the orange and black Wolves team strip and consider one of these for you

.....though I bet you're fab just the way you are - do you have a recent photo at all?
I've walked on Whitstable beach under a full moon, many, many years ago - bet the flying is fantastic, especially on a still day - lovely! Socks'n'corks is great until you need to take off again - Alan, I'd leave your cape off for this one - yes, I know it looks cool, but it'll be heavy when wet.... oh, go on then, you big strong wolf you!

Infallible rings - right, I'll need to shove loads of those in my pants and try again at first light.. thanks ever so much for the tip, Cal N Del, and congratulations Cal - that's brilliant and such an inspiration to know that it is possible - hurrah!!!.....did I just catch Gordy winking?...........it was good to see him having such a laugh today

infallible rings...thanks Gordy...and look where it got Cal n Del..amazing..OK SS -first light tomorrow!!
Alan -sorry about the lurcher...nasty, glad your master took effective action..wolf outffit for you from now on and practicee that AAAWOOOOOH -should frighten off bonkers lurchers...
off to dream of flying, catching fish, formation camel flying, great tits and all.....
