Morning all
We all excited as Davie has told us we going to start to practise fishing today!!!!!!
He's got some rolled up socks stuffed with cork so they have neutral buoyancy (we think that means they won't sink or float either that or there not keen on Beyoncé Knowles).
Dave has placed the socks just under the surface of the water for us to pluck the out of the water with our toes.
Del - EASY!!!!!!

.. corks in socks!! - but I haven't managed to take off from the water yet!!! *wades to the bankside, hauls herself out and drips and giggles all the way back to the launch strip - corks it is!!! Launching is trickier when you're sopping....!

Great Tit Watch:
Nine eggs; de3finitely nine beautiful eggs which need to be constantly fussed over - incubating is a very demanding role - Titty constantly adjusting the soft furnishings and turning and rea-arranging the eggs, keeping everything just so..... she grabs about two minutes sleep and then recommences arranging the eggs and nest. Very busy little thing. Also, we have seen her singing in the nest which is followed about a minute later by the arrival of Titan with nourishing goodies for her to eat - she may be asking whether it is tea time, or putting her order in; it looks to be working a treat! She is pretty much staying on the nest all the time now - just leaving for the odd two minutes to stretch her wings and maybe grab a quick sunflower seed or have a look around; then it is back to rearranging everything and being all fluffed up and wonderful!

loving the Titty and Titan team work, looks like there going to be great parents
on the t-shits front Del would like to announce he bought a new t-shirt yesterday and it large blue print of the millennium falcon on a black t shirt and he loves it
As for the fishing we've still not managed to catch a cork filled sock
as for taking off from the water try paddling with your feet to get you started and slow build up you speed until you feel yourself being to lift of the water and then just keep going until your in the air of reach then bank!

Back in th land of Southernpeople....
eeeK -I can't get the hang of taking off either..paddling like mad and slowly sinking..great aerobic exercise but not airborne exercise! wondering about taking a running jump, paddling in the air like amd and flapping waterwings........yes.......yea..oops...no...nooooooooooo splosh glug..found a cork! (don't tell me where to put it) Cal N Del you sound the nearest..reaching out for corks....this is going to be much more demanding..isn't there a zen way of looking at this..Davie???
Del does the new T shirt help? where can we get one? thinking of adding kind of batman cape to water wings to see if will help........
