  still no tickets

  bright sunny and frosty start to the day at this end of the BBBofIC

  Last night was fun, Susan Calman was the compare and she is soooo funny

  Davie is just going to watch us flying today and he also wants us to pick up socks with our toes and land on a few fence posts, he will be taking notes!

  Gordy has told us just to relax and not to worry about the cold piercing blue eye staring at you (we not sure if his advice helps or not)

  Anyway time to show Davie what we can do........

  *Jumps on regulation broom and takes to the skies*

  *make a sharp turn and swoops toward the ground*

  *levels out a few feet of the ground and lower left leg toes at the ready*

  *missed rolled up sock*

  *tries not to the think about the cold blue eye watching me*

  Still got titt trouble - never mind.... Titty returned to the nest at 18:20 yesterday evening and resumed her dancing and poking and rummaging and laying for joy and womadness - we saw two new eggs, but I was hoping to see whether there were any more this morning. I know all is well because I can see and hear them as they are visiting the nest with yet more nesting material

  Eric hasn't been around when I've been past his belfry the last couple of days.

  Susan Calman is regularly on the News Quiz, 18.30, Fri R4 - very funny - last night must have been fab with her comparing, Cal N Del! No reports of naughtiness by Del - excellent!

  
  So we are performing under Dave's watchful blue gaze.......... I don't want to let Gordy down either, but it is difficult relaxing, especially as it is soooo coooold!

  Ok, here goes:

  *mounts broomstick
  good launch - happy with that - had lots of practice
  swings round, swoops low, extends blue foot and blue toes, and
  misses the clench - too numb!
  heads for the fence post - good approach
  lands with a jolt - can't feel feet and didn't bend the knees in time........
  sorry Gordy..

  sorry for your titproblems SS hopefully resolved soon so you can see them!
  watchful cold gaze unnerving..missing socks most of the time...
  oh well:
  Because I'm easy come, easy go (pretending eyes aren't watching us)
  A little high, little low (far too low)
  Anyway the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me, to me (but does to Dave...eeek!)

  and it IS a bitter wind!!

  .. just baked a flan....

  Is it too cold to see if Dave is an ice cream fan? Does he have spoon skills like Gordy?......... soup would be nicely warming....... I'm numb to the knee now and relying on Kenny's extra sensory training to get me from the fence post, over to kicking a sock and back again for an ungainly landing..... maybe it is endurance rather than technique he's looking for...........if so, Gordy can be a little bit proud of us!

  ....of jam - these pears will steam your head........

  If there's soup, I'll be right over - I've just taken a batch of large criusty buns out of the oven - I'll bring them over..... oooo look - Dave's smiling! - I think he may like some soup too - probably fish soup for him and Gordy's usual jelly and ice cream, of course!

  Jays are gorgeous birds - don't get them so much around here; would be lovely. There's a pair of jackdaws filling next door's chimney with sticks.......

  Dry and sunny for most of the day and not much of a wind too!!!!

  Davie has told Gordy that he was impressed with our efforts today and he didn't mind all the missed socks wobbly fence post landing, he just wanted to see how much effort we put in.

  Davie was also surprised to see the camel take to the air and Gordy has taken them away for some night time training but he didn't tell us why.

  He did say that tomorrow we'll be learn how to fly low over water, fingers crossed it warmer tomorrow for all.
