  To my shame, when was very young, 20 (ish) I saw Ry Cooder at the Hammy Odean. He came out, with no band and sat on a stall in the middle of the stage,chatted to the audience and played a 12 string acoustic all night. A friend & I thought, "you can't head bang to this" and so left and sat in the bar all night..........youth is wasted on the young

  Arh thought of another... late '70's at Maidstone Art College, every other week they had a gig. My friends n I were regulars. One gig, 3 bands, headline was Stray, supported by this new band Motorhead, who were in turn supported by Strife.

  At the bar myself and a friend chatted to Lemmy. Lemmy bought my mate a beer and forgot me. So my claim to fame is that Lemmy owes me a beer

  I was in Hyde Park when the Stones were jamming back in '69 ? I went for a swim in the Serpentine 'cus it was hot hot hot!! Why didn't I fight my way to the front and snap some classic pics?
