The Thirst. Young black rock band from Brixton.

It's too soon for Dengue Fever to come back to womad (they were all over it a couple of years ago, and played at least three sets), but I wouldn't mind seeing Jah Wobble again.
I'd really like to see the German band Cobra Killer, who could also offer a couple of sets as Trost and Gina D'Orio -- three for the price of one!
Their moment may have passed by the time the next Charlton Park womad wends its way round but, if not, let's have the Russian collective Pussy Riot.
The Icelandics have already been mentioned, so here's another vote for both Sigur Ros and Bjork.
Some North American music mightn't go amiss: The Handsome Family would be a great act to book, as would multi-instrumentalist Andrew Bird.
And could we have a Brian Eno too, please?

Peter Gabriel, Afro Celts Dhol Foundation...and I do agree, Johnny Kalsi is also a great mc as he just seems to love the music. Bring back Los de Abajo and how about Daniel Lanois please?

Handsome Family is a great shout.
I always suggest the Innocence Mission for R3 stage so will do so again - beautiful music from the most beautiful people. I live in hope more than expectation:)

Fewer UK acts please. Cutting edge urban styles from South America with real musicians fused with DJs rather than UK/US DJs trying to be cool but only succeeding in being boring. Bring back the Colombians from 2011 Red Tent!
Dixie Chicks for modern Bluegrass if at all possible!
More from Brazil, Argentina, Colombia (Hi energy & loud - yay!).
Quiet & intricate styles from the far east (but not near the bass of the red tent)
Lots from Africa & India as always please.
Don't want to suggest specifics as I love WOMAD for introducing me to bands I don't know!

Irish band (based around Manchester) Whiskey in the Jar... traditional Irish and guaranteed to get the crowd going :).... I'm biased though... they're my band... would LOVE to do Womad !!!
