  DT I totally agree, why keep it a secret? I almost understand the reasoning that Glasto doesn't announce until it sells out ....so that you don't sell out to lovers of the headline act rather than selling out to music lovers. but is Womad really in that position?? I think not.... Lamar tree is tempting and good friends are doing Cambridge this year and it does have some great acts...Clannad

  Standing Stone....I did not want to give the impression of moaning....sorry if I did, but i didn't used to understand why Glastonbury kept their band list secret until it was explained to me why, and then it was fine. i am just questioning why Love Womad and always will, but why can't they say who is playing? What is the objective and/or problem? ....... I was only meaning to question not to moan. Maybe I owe you a glass of red wine at Womad if I have offended in any way

  SS people are entitled to complain, otherwise how would Womad know what the paying punters enjoy? It's my hard earned cash that pays for the tickets after all, so I think that entitles me to a bit of a moan.This is an open forum and I for one welcome differing opinions, it's encourages a healthy debate. Not everyone likes Peter Gabriel, trance music or going to bed at midnight. What a boring festival it would be if that were the case.

  Informed or not makes no difference to me, as I would not know most of them, but would go anyway.
