thanks for the clue Baz.. Waitrose eh?? what's the wild life like there?

the rain has finally reached us, we don't mind as the garden needed a bit of rain
Anyway we're getting all excited about out highland holiday and the long term weather reports we have seen indicate that the north of Scotland should get some good weather.
As for wild life in Waitrose we are sure they are all organic

lol!! healthy wildlife!!
yes Cal N Del you have the better weather for the forseeable future -great for your trip!
where are you going? taking the Womad tent on an outing?
Gordy going to?
with/without lady friend?
are you all stocked up from your lovely farmers market?
SS hope you had a wonderful time despite the lovely rain and gales - add excitement to outdoor life!

Up until now, the wildlife of Waitrose was somewhat less than interesting. But...the sighting at the weekend made it all so much more impressive!!
Though,it did have its dangers. There was a particularly nasty older creature careening through the unsuspecting beer section - probably heading for the irrelevant's graveyard.

We didn't stock up too much at the farmer markets due to our trip to the north
On Thursday we're off to Inverness to visit a friend then on Sunday we head to Durness and we are hoping to visit Cape Wrath.
http://www.durness.org/
The we have a few days in Lochinver (Del favourite part of the highlands (geology is one of his passions)).
http://www.lochinver.bordernet.co.uk/
Then we stop off in Newtonmore to break the journey home so Cal is rested for doing a 10k in Glasgow on the 13th!
We not sure what Gordy will do but we like the idea of him coming with us so we'll asking him if he wants to tag along (with or without female companionship).
Forget Waitrose for wildlife Del saw a reindeer in Lidl today (okay it was a pack of reindeer stake in the freeze but he say's it still counts!)

no wonder you are excited -sounds wonderful, looks wonderful and then Cal..10K as well...
no Del, don't think dead chopped up reindeer qualifies as wildlife stalking a la Baz in Waitrose..!
do you think he's stalking K H in camouflage??
be careful Baz there are laws.....

We have live deer here (not in the house - they always hog the remote).
And as for stalking KH, strictly speaking she'd have been stalking us as we were ahead in the queue.
Though we do have rather inventive tactics as regards disguising ourselves. We dress up as Wilfred and Squeak. We call it camelflage.

lol! I had refrained from asking if you wore a deer stalker..now I know!

Cal's nephew worked on spring watch and autumn watch and he told us a few bit of gossip about KH...................
