  I know - it is just my pet hate of being cold and wet and I don't wish it on others, even with tiffin and brandy support! You'll have the best of times whatever the weather, I'm sure! !

  .. thrushes are gorgeous singers - what a lovely start to the day!

  .. say Hi to the newts from me - they must have loved the downpour

  .. no easter eggs, but plenty of joy in the kitchen cooking, the Roasted Squash and Shallots with Merguez Chickpeas followed by Pear and Ginger Crumble (where on earth we got the idea to do that, I just don't know!) was particularly good!

  Anyway Davie headed home this morning but before he went he told us he was very pleased with everyone progress, fishing is easy to learn and even he gets a soaking now and again. Gordy is very please with us too and he's going to ask Davie to come back when it gets a bit warmer for more lessons.

  We're glad to T and T are doing so well we hope the weather holds for them and how about putting our some meal worms for them?

  Well, the weather here held for the most part of the day but it has just let go. Luckily, I was stump collecting when it was dry n sunny.
  (That wasn't a philatelist misspelling, I really was collecting a stump)

  

  (No trees were harmed in the making of this movie - unless it turns out to be a Zombie Tree, in which case, our garden has just got that bit more dangerous)

  Unfortunately, I had no beer left from the weekend. I was just glad to stop wheezing!!. Next time I'll just buy a Baobab Tree - much easier and the effect is pretty much the same.
