DT, Percy is doing another pre-debut gig with the Sensational Space Shifters in London, July 12th:
http://www.nme.com/news/robert-plant/63585
Looks like Womad is Debut number 3!

Apparantly the first gig sold out almost immediatly, will wait until Womad to see him as I'm in London to see Mr Bruce Springsteen later that week.
Now he could come to Womad, some of his stuff is very laid back, although he jumps about like a teenager. Shame on him showing the rest of us up like that.

Bruce should reconvene the "Seeger Sessions Band" for the occasion.

can we have too much of a good thing?

Blick Bassy is from Cameroon

Good work SBS, I was just on Manu Chao's sight and saw your comment
I've added my tu'pence worth

You're quite right Bassy, it said France on the announcement and I just copied it.
Fingers crossed SC, fingers crossed. I've only seen him at a big festival with Mano Negra but have managed a few smaller gigs. 2010s benefit for Colombiage was the last time and that's way too long ago.

fingers crossed
Manu's "sight" ?? I meant site of course......where's that edit button ???
I just googled the 2010 benefit gig as I hadn't heard of it..... what a nice, good man Manu is,
