my fav fresh juice bar, cakes from cakehole, and amazing idli's from Madras Cafe

The Vegetable Daal Curry from Manic Organic was delicious and easily my food highlight of the festival. Their breakfasts were good too. I also had a lovely vegetable tart thing from the Creole food start near the Charlie Gillett stall.
I love curry!

Red Fish Platter at Yam THE Cassava productions
mmmmmmm

The Moorish Feast keeps us coming back for more. Their Spicy Lamb Bourek is a joy to behold, and loved their "bit of everything" Mezze.

Young Miss McG and I kept finding ourselves in the welcoming Pizza cafe opposite the Siam drinking excellent coffee and scoffing almond and cherry cake(me) or date and walnut (YMM). Really nice staff and somewhere to sit down for a while where you can still listen to the music from the Siam - grand as owt!

Same as last year - Jerk belly pork with rice and peas, homemade coleslaw and a dumpling from Hot Flavours. Steep at £9 but seriously oralgasmic.

I love the curries too, Thai Green Curry always good from Far East Noodles. But I like to try new things too so had the Fish Cakes from the Creole, but these were too greasy - could do without so much batter, but I liked the gravy that came with it, so next time I'll try the vegetable tart that Beanstew had - it looked quite good.

Loved the spicy lamb bourek and meant to return for the Mezze another time but ran out of it (time that is). Also enjoyed our old favourite, the thali from the Madras cafe. Had healthy fruit salad, musesli and yoghurt from Manic Organic accompanied by elderflower and lemon juice. Another favourite is the ginger sheeps milk ice cream. And Steve enjoyed the coffee and floor show at the real coffee stall. I loved the elderflower and plum drink from one of the elderflower stalls but they sold out really early on. We missed the yellow tea and toastie van tho

Iv been trying to get to the goan fish curry for the last two womads the que is always way to long , on sunday night i finally saw there was no que and marched down there only to find they had sold out of everything , dawns on me why there is no que ,dam! best imho was the fish and lamb flaffels from the moorish feast always a que there too but in general the food is really great at womad and i had brilliant food where ever i ate but was a bit too distracted to remember the names sorry!

Mikemike - go to the Goan Fish Curry stall on Thursday or for their kedgeree for breakfast. No queues then, or at least, not much of a queue. I don't like fish so I have my breakfast at Manic Organic next door, but Steve always goes straight for kedgeree!
