I think so Andy! x
I will see him though. He played at Womad 09, but that was my first year so I didn't really get who he was and how awesome he is! x

We think him'll pop up somewhere and may sing a few songs with someone

Now Peter with Kate Bush and Imogen Heap. That would be worth watching

Peter Gabriel
Afro Celts with contribution from Peter Gabriel
Khalid

Have I already suggested Los De Abajo? They are an incredible live band and would do justice to any stage as long as it was late in the evening...

I feel I should mention Loreena McKennitt again (she's booked for Cambridge, so...she's in the neighbourhood-ish)

Two excellent CD's that I have recently acquired, not seen either live but if their CD's are anything to go by would be great Womaders. Liz Green - O,Devotion and Nightmare on wax - in a space outta sound. Yes I know Nightmare on Wax sounds like a bunch of death thrash metal merchants, but in fact it's a very eclectic bunch of tracks. Reminds me of Deep Forest / Moby-Play / Latin /Jungle /General Womady - Perfect for a sunny Saturday afternoon chilling with a beer

Jax - that is very, very, very naughty of you.... Peter Gabriel with Afro Celts..... he and Iarla O'Lionaird's singing together...... the stuff of dreams! It would be stonking! Good call!

Burning Spear, back to the roots
Yusuf Islam (aka Cat Stevens) and I would fill my boots
Steve Winwood would be a treat
and Stephen Bishop there to meet
with Judie Tzuke the songstress true
and Peter Gabriel right on cue!

I do like Jax's suggestion Peter Gabriel with Afro Celt Sound System but perhaps with Robert Plant & Friends joining them on stage half way through the set! ......not too much to ask is it? ...oh ok I'm sure we can also squeeze Kate Bush and Imogen Heap on stage too
