  I don't quite remember the mud being 'bouncy' last time there was a lot of it. In fact I seem to remember the top half of my body doing a bit of spectacular dad-dancing to Baaba Maal whilst my wellies were firmly held in a vice like grip by the stickiest mud I've ever stood in!

  Please webcam tech. adjust the exposure on the webcam. Everytime it goes into the shade it overcompensates (biggest word on the forum?)

  Mcgrooger - sticky mud comes just before bouncy mud.

  In order I'd rather have no mud, bouncy mud, sloshy mud (but only in wellies) and sticky mud is just evil.

  I remember bouncy mud inWomud year.
  So much for 50 shades if Grey, 50 shades of mud is more the deal.
  Gloopy mud is the stuff you kick and sploosh, sticky mud is the evil stuff that sucks your wellies off, and squidgey mud is the fore-runner to all of that, when there's still grass visible.

  Bouncy mud happened when sticky mud was drying out.
