I seem to be 184 years old in current whisky age (16 different single malts mostly 9 or 12 year olds but I have a couple of 20 years olds too)!
I do have a 175th anniversary's Talisker which allegedly has an 80 malt as part of the blend but I didn't count it blended whiskys or I'd be some around 300!!!
Mind you the more bottles I finish the younger I'll become

what was this thread all meant to be about?

I've only got some "Big Peat" left. Not exactly cultured but a bit of fun and very peaty. Del, your collection sounds a bit like my friends that we all descended on on Saturday
Your clearly a bit of a serious whisky man

I still learning and that's why I have to keep practicing ;o)
if your ever in Glasgow then I can recommend the Pot Still.

I've learned a lot on my visit to this fine educational establishment, sorry I mean pub

There is a plan for a long weekend (4 or 5 days) in Scotland (isle of Isley) specifically for distillery tours with friends (male only) in September, May have to squeeze that pub in

Isley.................................................................. Del dream island

Watching the torch traveling through the South West, I'm getting quite into the Olympic mood.
Perhaps I should sell my ticket so I can watch it all ;-)

JC Better still you should have run with the torch & then sold it so no worries about affording future festivals
Yea I was so inspired too, I'll be crammed in Mollys bar watching it all weekend.

I'm still waiting to be inspired, It's passing through our region either Wednesday or Thursday (can't remember which cos it's still a few miles away from home territory so the magic is dimiished a tad).
Might bring a box of matches in case the flame goes out again.

Passing through town tomorrow and the choir I’m in will be singing to speed it on its way.
