Only three meters I think, but it's what you put up it that matters.

ScrummyMummy, my hubby bought it for me as a birthday present 2 years ago, after I saw one at Womad, but as we didn't camp last year, it will be making it's debut in July. He can't remember which site he used but I will see if I can find out. I know it was quite expensive though, so I hope it doesn't disintegrate!
SkyBlueSaddler, I am looking at SpiritOfAir as well for poles etc.

SM At Glastonbury we had 3 Streamer flags, but then the kids used to make their own out of pillow cases, they used to go up the pole as well so yes you can have more than one

There is a very similar dragon kite on eBay. Described as a 3-D dragon kite and made by X Kites. The seller is Juggling Poi Flags.

Thanks Jax! x

we think it's time to get a flag pole and may be we can find a 3D eagle kite to fly from it

or a whisky bottle

Spirit of Air is looking like the place to shop for my flag stuff. They seem to do everything, and the kite I got from them a few years back is still giving me lots of fun.
Do I go for 4, 5 or even 6 metres? Decisions, decisions.
As for what to fly from it, the discussion here has ranged from the Spanish Civil War International Brigade flag I've long coveted to streamers to dog windsocks. If only they did big flying greyhounds.

SkyBlueSaddler; a flag eitherside of your tent entrance, perhaps?

Thanks folks; reminded me I want to sew some high viz tape to our homemade flag (remnant of ex-tent with patches of old festival clothes sewn on, hoisted on plastic garden canes strapped together with string and garden ties).......reduce, reuse, recycle

.....oooooooo - Gordy! Cal N Del, that would be fab!

There was talk of a gazebo last night and a little fence. I dunno, I used to be content with a bin bag and a ditch to sleep in when I started festivalling.
