  They are always in the procession wearing purple T shirts and white trousers. They hold workshops as well I think throughout the week-end. I just love drumming!
  I used to love drifting off to sleep to the sound of distant drumming but that has disappeared now that the campsite regulations are stricter than they used to be.

  'Campsite regulations' certainly are stricter but I guess 'no drumming after 8pm' may be a condtion of their licence. Shame isn't it Jax2000? I like Purple

  Would have thought 10 :30 pm would be a compromise on the no Drumming. The licencing people will know, wonder if its on line?

  It's a great shame Purpledawn!
  You also used to get groups of people coming together on the campsite with various instruments and joining together for impromptu jamming sessions.....aaah, the good old days!

  I used to go to sleep to the sound of a didg. Mind you, that was about 4.00 in the afternoon following a pre festie session in Caversham.

  I don't know where you guys are camping, but I've been at at least one impromptu late night jam sesh every year I've been! And I know I've heard drumming later than 8pm to! Maybe just camp site drummers?

  Still love it to bits though, even though it's not quite the same.
  Really hope they have the communal showers this year. I can't be wasting time queuing for a shower cubicle! Too much to see and do!
