  looks like you computer is feeling the heat

  as we say life it too short for bad food, weak coffee and dull music

  we are planning a wee trip to Portpartick in Galloway (as featured on last weekends country file) we were there last year and we loved it so much Cal decided she wanted to go back for her birthday.

  agree - good food ,company and music...does it everytime!

  Portpatrick looks wonderful and I went for virtual tour of those gardens..beautiful a great place for a birthday...

  I know how to spend a blazing hot Sunday..dhobi wallah...been treading kitchen rag rug in a handmade bath under apple tree..now spread in sun to dry..looking a lot brighter! (can't spend all and everyday at the beach!)

  visitors this weekend:

  bats swooped over the pond all evening.
  grass snake in pond -popped in to get cool and a snack - ate one of my ramshorn snails.
  visiting swarm of bees sussing out my roof space
  widebodied chaser (dragonfly)
  nightingale popped in today for a visit -sadly gone now
  who next?

  Gordy and Maggie have arrived and they are very much together

  Gordy said when h e got to Denmark and saw Maggie he didn't have to say anything they just knew they should be together. He then told he had tried to fly back a few time but each time he set off within a few hours he just had to turn back and be with Maggie and the last time he tried Maggie's was already flying after him when he turned around!!!!!!!

  They are not sure what to do next but whatever they do they'll be doing it together aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
