I don't drink alcohol and on many occasions due to the heat was at the bar ordering beer for partner and soda, soda and lime for myself to cool off. I was appalled! Constantly had to argue with the staff who had no guidelines at pricing of this. I was charged anywhere from 50p for soda to £3.50.Ridiculous! I did not pay the latter. Water is cheap and soda water is free anywhere else but expected to pay a little at festival and for the cordial. A word to beer tents next year....include this in the price list so I don't have to be outraged and staff do not have to guess.

Free alcohol drinks would be better. Each bar could have its own a loyalty card and anyone buying nine pints can have the tenth pint free!

Outrageous that they should attempt to charge these prices there are 56 pints in a barrel £4 pint = £224
Soda water which is availible free of charge normally doesn't ring up on the stock take
So thats anywhere between an arbitory sum of 50p to £3.50 ave £2
in someones back pocket -
Legally if they don't display a contract price and you ask for it and they give it to you then they are deemed to have given it to you for nothing

I don't recall a 'steam' for soft drinks in the bar - however I only went in once! In which case soda would come from a bottle which obviously has to be paid for. One thing to think about is - if you have a stall opposite the bar selling soft drinks at £2 a can then you would be a little miffed if the bar sold soft drinks at 50p.

Anyone selling flavoured carbonated sugar water in a tin for two quid deserves all they (don't) get. Surely anyone with two brain cells to rub together who wants a few tins of pop a festival like womad would just buy a case from a supermarket and sling it in the boot rather than line the pockets of profiteering bastards.

A Lime and Soda should be 50p - £1 max. I drink this often in bars when I am driving, so Womad or the Bar people should have a pricing structure for this. Lime and Soda is not in the same bracket as sugary-fizzy drinks, does not come in tins and kids wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
I drink a lot of water at Womad - free from the tap.

You drink in bars when you're driving? How big is your car??

Morris minors are like the Tardis, didn't you know??

I know a small dog who's bottom is like one too (a TARDIS, not a Morris Minor),
