Kareyce Fotso for me too. I'm just having a listen to her CD and it really is lovely.

Manganiyar Seduction, they looked like they loved what they did and they reminded me of the begining of the muppet show

Wish I'd seen Jupiter Bokonji and Okwess International

The Manganiyar Seduction for me followed by Moving Sound and Ragu Dixit

So many...but to start with, I'll go with,,,
Ane Brun
Spiro
Keb' Mo'
Omar Pene
and Anri Sala's "Answer Me"

Glad you liked Ane Brun Baz. She's one of my absolute favourite artists. I first saw her with Peter Gabriel but have since seen her three times doing her own material. All of her albums are brilliant.

The Barons of Tang.
You can't beat a Bass Clarinet - that's fact, not opinion.

Agree Stompe - Barons of Tang are a brilliant act, again we had seen them before so they weren't new to us but we just love them. Have some videos to put up over the next few days for anyone who missed them.
This was a great Womad!

Ane Brun.......phenomenal, can't stop listening to her cd's and watching her again and again on youtube.

Yay Salmac for more Ane Brun love.
I've got a few videos of her on my channel. Here's a playlist of her performances at WOMAD and a couple of gigs in London:

Can you tell I'm a bit of a fan.
Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra were brilliant! I had seen a couple of videos on youtube so they weren't a total surprise but I was still blown away by their energy.
