  Musicport is back in Whitby. 5/6/7 October. A great late season world music fest , have a look at their website. Whitby you say...a lovely little fishing port on the east coast of Yorkshire with great fish n chips, Captain Cook's birthplace, a youth hostel, and music. ~I also note that you can buy tickets by the day and £20 aint bad to see Dub Colossus. Anyone up for it?

  I've been to everyone, a really good fest in a beautiful town. I am performing at C-FAB Fest in Lincs on the Friday and Saturday but hope to get to Musicport for Saturday evening and Sunday.

  Yaaay! I may finally get to meet you then!

  There is no campsite but the north east coast in October is no place for a tent I can assure you!

  Make sure you go to the famous Magpie Cafe! People queue to get in but it is worth it!

  Isn't there a Dracula festival every year? Stayed near the moors 4 years ago never made it as far north as Whitby.

  Yes or just a goth weekend, not exactly sure but I suppose they are tied in together. It used to be the weekend before Musicport. Then Musicport moved to Bridlington which compared to Whitby is a hole....

  The Bridlington Spa theatre had double booked so Musicport has been left with no option but to return to Whitby (much to the delight of many).
