Schrodinger Baz has hung his laurels up but the question remains...is he real????? and the answer is he's back...and front! but not in between.

And it's only...( very deep breath)...36 and a bit DAYS TO WOMAD!!!!

all hips flasks are pre fill will a variety of malts and liqueurs and if you spot Del (kilt and sideburns and tiara) he be happy to let have a slip of something out of his sporran

not sure about the single ring gas cooker and we use a pair of trangias

(if things get really bad we can always drink the meths as it comes in a plastic bottle)

Hey , we want a reggae great so lets invite Burning Spear back - how good was he last time at Rivermead . Its gonna be short notice so maybe bands already doing a few festival slots will be available ( hello Afro celt soundsystem ) Would also love to see D J Shantel again , or maybe Mick and Keith might enjoy the Glastonbury vibe so much they,ll want to do another festival !!!

I guess we'll be sneaking cans into the arena then. Not a problem.

As for glass, I don't think there's really any need to bring it with you as its disposal can be difficult at a festival. If you must bring your bottle of 25 yr aged Macallan then it can be decanted into plastic prior to your arrival (feel free to give me a shout when you open it though, I'd hate for you to have to take any home with you).

I've seen at least a couple of injuries (one horrific) caused by a combination of glass being dumped along with the other rubbish in the centre of the campsites and youthful, drunken antics and you can't ban the young stupid. For a start, it would be a very quiet festival.

All that being said, you can't stop some people bringing glass in without searching everyone on arrival and providing a safe place for disposal is the responsible thing to do. Besides, there's a very good chance that banning glass is a condition of the licence.

Which reminds me. A couple of festivals are apparently banning single-ring gas cookers now. Anyone heard anything on this?

as far as we know you can take what you want into the campsite (within reason we would suggest) but your not allowed to take your own into the arena especially glass bottles (every year people do take there own in to the arena (just don't flaunt it))

personal Del like his ale chilled from the real tent and not hot from our tent as for what's in his sporran that another story mainly due to the lack of single malts in the bars

Security has been beefed up the last couple of years. There were tales of rather over zealous searches being performed on cars as they arrived and alcohol being confiscated. We haven't experienced it ourselves though.
