Each morning in the All Singing All Dancing tent Yogatree will be running a 90 minute Iyengar Yoga class. What better way to start the day after a night under canvas?
In the past 6 years Lydia and Edgar (Yogatree) have led Yoga workshops at WOMAD which have been greatly appreciated by seasoned yogis and novices alike.
Each session is a sequence of classical yoga asanas, seated and standing postures, concluded with a guided relaxation. The combination of dynamic and restorative postures brings freedom to the body and quiet to the mind.
After all the excitement and stimulation to the senses it is refreshing to stretch the body and take some time for yourself and to move your awareness inside.
Lydia and Edgar have been teaching yoga for 12 years and hold classes locally. They are dedicated to the teachings of Yoga Master BKS Iyengar who at 90 still continues to inspire yogis all over the world.
