Twenty-three year old Makana was born and raised in Hawaii. One of the few ‘slack key’ guitar players in the world, Makana learnt from the masters of this technique which is indigenous to Hawaii. A solo performer, Makana writes his own music and lyrics, creating a truly Hawaiian sound.
