Based in Bristol, the project runs courses in choreographed percussion and dance. Ilu Axé students form the basis of the performing group which features fully choreographed drummers and singers.
The group performs original arrangements of traditional, sacred and popular songs. The material is strongly influenced by the music and dance of Candomblé.
