Al Baño Maria

Al Baño María is a band from Gran Canaria who have created a positive wave with their fresh attitude towards understanding, expressing and transmitting their music.
It is the funk that moves this well formed group (no less than 9 members) and gives them the thread to compose their themes, where they mix different styles like rock, reggae, ska, latin, disco. They base their music on, what they call, "the intelligent democracy", this is to say, they take into account everyone's different music tastes and try to apply them to their music, giving them a fresh touch with the main aim of making everyone happy.
There is a perfect combination between youth and experience amongst the band members and when they're all on stage they promise to make you live an unforgettable experience based in funk mixed with all kind of music styles.
The name of Al Baño Maria comes from the collective thought that everything in this life must be cooked on a slow heat for the best flavours to come out.
